  I wish I could give a higher rating because the young sales clerk was so sweet and because when I called the store trying to locate them they were helpful in getting me to their location -- but the truth is, I never should've ended up there in the first place. I called earlier in the day to see if they had any dresses from a designers bridesmaids dress line in my size, and they assured me that though they only had size 12, if I came into the store I could try them on, they'd clip them up, and get an idea of what they looked like. After I walked in they asked if it was an out-of-town wedding and where the bride was purchasing the dress. Long story short, once she realized there was a chance the bride wouldn't be purchasing from them, the manager told me the dresses would swallow me, asked the sales clerk several times to stop showing me dresses and lectured her for letting me try a dress on because "there are no advantages to that". I was so uncomfortable. If you don't want women trying on dresses unless they can guarantee they'll be making a purchase, you should specify that either on the website or should have mentioned that on the phone when they encouraged me to make the trip into the store to try on. It's not my fault they have customers ordering dresses online, but talking about customers not being a worthy customer to pay any attention to when they're next door exposed in the dressing room feels horrible. If you're going to give that ill-informed advice to your young sales clerk, wait until the customer has left the store. If this had been a different experience I may have ordered the dress from here. And you should make sure that the designers you carry have your correct address on their respective websites. Very poor business practices, I don't know how places like this stay in business because I certainly couldn't refer anyone to this bridal shop in the future nor would I consider going back. Young sales clerk: if you're reading this, find another bridal shop to work in, you're valuable and can do better than work under this type of management.
